Equipment check out

 Nati and I own a fair amount of film equipment. especially a camera and a tripod. We think a light kit, boom pole, microphone, and Sony 7 camera would be needed for this particular movie. We chose to get in touch with a nearby news station to borrow these items of equipment. 

We DM'ed @shortcuts on Instagram to ask if any of these things were available and when we could check them out. 

However, there was a big problem... THEY DID NOT HAVE THE SONY CAMERA. The only reason why this was a real bummer was that the Sony camera shoots so effortlessly and beautifully that its natural shot can not be found in other cameras (unless edited in post production). They are also super expensive, so its not something we can get on our own. We debated about other cameras and whether they were good enough, but he informed us that the cameras he had did not have autofocus tracking, which makes like harder because if a person moves in the shot, the camera will not be able to stay focused on the person. 

However, He informed me that other people from my school do have that camera checked out, so i called up a friend which so happened to be one of the actors who play GAVIN, and he so happened to let us use his camera along with his light kit. 

We agreed to meet up on monday to talk about the camera and gather some other stuff we need.
